Lunarshine Design for SignBanditNH.org is Launched 5.14.07 Lunarshine Web Design and Development of Portsmouth, is pleased to announce the launch of SignBanditNH.org. 
Stratham, New Hampshire resident John Decker has begun a campaign to remove illegal roadside signage throughout the state. To further his quest,
he has utilized Lunarshine's web services to create this new site.
"The signs are illegal," says Decker, "but right now, the highway department can’t remove the signs unless they notify the owner of the sign in writing. Then they have to take the sign down and store it for 30 days before they can throw it away. Even worse, they have to write a letter for each sign they wish to remove." After facing legal issues for removing the signs himself, Decker has now begun a campaign of placing his signature stickers on the signs to call attention to the issue and hopefully deter companies from cluttering the state's roadways with their advertising. Currently under review, New Hampshire House Bill 271 would make it legal for everyone to remove these signs. For more info about SignBanditNH.org, please visit www.SignBanditNH.org. |
